If you ever go to the Bahamas, made sure you order a drink called the Bahama Mama. It's delicious and puts you straight into beach mode 101. We've been on Paradise Island in Nassau for the last few days and had a blast hanging out on the beach, checking out the town and history of the island. My Aunt and Uncle are here from my mom's side of the family who live in Florida and decided to tag along with us for the trip. My mom and her boyfriend Ron are here with me as well. We learned to ride seaways while on the Island (in which I got some serious air on a jump...not kidding) and went on a tour around the city. It's been a lot of fun, but I am SO BEYOND READY to get on the ship. Since loading on the ship takes awhile with 734 students...and it's all alphabetical...I am the last one to load. The ship is smaller than I expected when I saw it in the harbor...then again it was next to HUGE cruise ships for Carnival and Royal Caribbean. So, we don't have thousands of people on our ship but it'll be home for the next four months! I cannot wait to meet everyone on the ship and start my classes. I know this will be an out of this world experience and that most people in world have never been to the many places I will see this semester. I feel so lucky to be able to do this while I am young, healthy, and learning new things about this world.
Well, my time is almost up and I've better get my things together, but I wanted to let those who are reading this that my internet on the ship is even more limited than I thought. So I will try my best to contact everyone but I just can't guarantee anything until I see how everything works out.
More later, but maybe not until I get to Spain. Ah! I'm going to Spain! :-) Adios!
I sent you a letter which you should receive upon your arrival in Casablanca. I'm hoping it gets to you in time, but with MLK day its hard to know... If you don't get it then, you can expect a letter at every stop from me!!! LOVE YOU! MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
